He's started helping out with experimental/avant-garde stuff in the music dept, and he'll begin hosting his own weekly netcast when our spring schedule starts in February. We expect to have about 5 different DJs (including Kim Moreland our new Program Director) who feature the kind of stuff listed above. In addition to the increased airplay (I mean netplay) that also means more people to give you feedback on the discs. We've begun posting our DJs' CD comments on our web site at: http://WSUM.wisc.edu/CDComments We'll try to get our "new music" folks active on that front as well. We will be netcasting during the winter break, but Jake and I will both be out of town for 3-4 weeks. That means we probably won't be sending out a new experimental playlist until February.
